Does your child take Cylert for attention deficit disorder? The manufacturer of the 30-year-old drug, Abbott Laboratories, Inc., has announced a decision to remove Cylert from the market, claiming that the reason is declining sales and not the risk of liver damage that public health advocates have been warning of. Generic versions of the drug will remain available for now.
