Underage and online

Monday July 18, 2005
Do your kids do much with the computer? Some parents complain that their kids are constantly IMing and chatting and using the 'net for purposes that require heavy-duty surveillance software and childlocks. At our house, though, I'd really like to find more ways to get my children wired up. I'm guessing that computer skills will be some of the most important things I can give my learning- and behavior-challenged kiddos, a way to make them employable in the online, telecommuting world of their future. I've hooked them up with good educational games and training software, and this summer started a weblog for my son to get him more interested in writing. If your kids are wired, or even if they're not, share their computer uses in our daily poll.
