Back to school with autism

Wednesday August 24, 2005
"I love someone with autism." "Autism is part of our world." "Autism is amazing!" Those are the upbeat sentiments -- complete with artwork by an 11-year-old with autism and an 8-year-old sibling of an autistic child -- featured on bags and T-shirts at Daffodil Ink, a store dedicated to gently increasing autism awareness. Might be some good apparel there to wear to your first parent-teacher meeting, back-to-school night or IEP get-together. ... Daffodil Ink is #3 on today's list of Five Fun Things to Do, along with glook, maths, allowances and "Adventures in Parenting."
