Question of the Day: Winter Break

Thursday December 22, 2005
Christmas vacation ... excuse me, Winter Break starts tomorrow in our school district. Halfway through tomorrow, anyway. The kids get off at 12:30 and don't go back until the day after New Year's. That's a shorter break than usual, Christmas being on a Sunday and all, and that's A-OK with me. School vacations are stressful to kids (and parents) who need their routine, though being able to sleep a little later does have a lot to say for it. Which of these days is your child off for Winter Break? Click on one, then use your browser's back button to click on as many more as apply.
1) The week between Christmas and New Year's
2) Friday, December 23 (full day)
3) Friday, December 23 (half day)
4) Monday, January 2
5) The week before Christmas
6) The week after New Year's
7) Part of the week before Christmas
8) Part of the week after New Year's
9) Some other annoying combination
10) No time off at all
