Bullying is always a topic for concern among parents of children with special needs. There's the fear our children will be bullied. There's the fear our children will be bullies. And there's the fear someone may accuse our children of bullying just to get them in trouble. When I heard about Bullystoppers.com, my first thought was that it might make that third point easy -- leave an anonymous accusation on a web site naming some innocent person a bully, and having your friends pile on. But in fact, this site has a good idea: It lets kids leave information about the what, where, when, and how of bullying without naming the who. That gives adults a clue of where to watch and how to patrol without anyone specifically being "told on." The site also has good information on how kids, parents, and school staff can deal with bullying.
