Polls, quizzes, and humor to while away a Friday

Friday January 27, 2006
It's Friday. I'm one week away from my son's IEP meeting, and five days away from a major work deadline, and so naturally, today, I'm buzzing around the Web looking for things to help me procrastinate. Some of the places I've surfed through: a page full of disability-related quizzes from the BBC's Ouch! Disability Magazine; two funny entries on the Special Education Law Blog, "My Dog Ate My IEP" and "Your School District Might Be a Pain In The Neck If..."; a humorous article on the Mothers from Hell 2 site, "You Know You Have a Child with Special Needs When ...; and "Can We Say Bye-Bye to Mandatory Thank-You Notes," a Blogging Baby post that's getting quite the pile-up of irate etiquette mavens in the comments. If that doesn't pass enough of your idle time, here's one more little distraction for you: All of our Questions of the Day have now been collected in one place, so you can browse through and spout off to your heart's content.
