Question of the Day: Doctors as heroes

So the AMA is all about doctors being "Everyday Heroes," and surely some of them are. Others? Not so much. For many parents, thinking of doctors doesn't make them feel warm and fuzzy so much as cold and clammy, or maybe red hot and mad. Do you think doctors are heroes?
