Question of the Day: Standardized testing

Standardized testing is hitting my kids' school next week; can low self-esteem be far behind? My daughter does fine in class with some inclusion help, but tanks on exams that call on quick thinking instead of deliberate study. Other kids with learning differences may rise to the occasion of those once-a-year tests better than they do to the day-to-day demands of academia. How does your child do on standardized tests?
