Easter has stiff dresses and egg hunts. Fourth of July has scary noisy fireworks. Thanksgiving has weird food and relatives. Holidays that most families think of as joyous times of celebration can be tortuous times of broken routines and behavioral meltdown for the families of children with special needs.
