AutismLink has long been an item on our list of recommended autism resources, but the site is particularly worth stopping by now because, starting in September, they'll be giving away two weighted lap pads a month to families of children with autism spectrum disorders. The pads are from DreamCatcher Blankets, a company profiled in our Enterprising Parents section. Fill in an entry on the site, then take a look around at the other terrific offerings here, including a state-by-state database of autism services, a mentor program, an autism podcast, art and photo gallery, and an online store full of autism-related merchandise.
