Special education school, lesson #1: The IEP

Tuesday September 5, 2006
September is a month for getting back to learning, and there's no reason that kids should have all the lessons to themselves. Parenting Special Needs class will now come to order, with instruction each school day from now to the end of the month on special education words and concepts you need to be familiar with. At each week's end, there will be a quiz on material covered, so study up, people. Today's topic is the IEP, or Individualized Education Plan. Open your Web browsers to the IEP FAQ and begin reading. Questions? Ask them in the comments below.
