Special education school, lesson #6: IDEA, FAPE and LRE

Parenting Special Needs class is back in session, with instruction each school day from now to the end of the month on special education words and concepts you need to be familiar with, and a weekly quiz to make sure you were paying attention. Today's topic is IDEA, the law from which all special education blessings flow, and the two slippery concepts contained in it, FAPE and LRE. What does all that alphabet soup mean?
