Halloween "Site of the Day" Special: The Parenting Special Needs Site of the Day has been taken over by goblins and, throughout the month of October, will feature a daily site offering Halloween help and happiness to kids with special needs. Kicking it off today is PatchWorx, a site that provides a "circle of support" to sick or disabled kids all through the year, but hosts a Halloween Event this month that includes contests, prizes, recipes, and special chat sessions. Among other fun activities, kids are invited to write an essay about their "virtual Halloween costume," and enjoy a Haunted House Adventure with the site's mascot, a dog named Patches.
