Halloween Site of the Day Special: The Parenting Special Needs Site of the Day has been taken over by goblins and, throughout the month of October, will feature a daily site offering Halloween help and happiness to kids with special needs. At the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network, they're gearing up for the fourth annual Trick-or-Treat for Food Allergy Coin Collection campaign, in which kids dress up for Halloween but instead of collecting allergy-provoking candy, collect coins to help the organization's education efforts and research programs. From the site, you can order a free coin collection box or download a label to paste on a coffee can, and learn how to submit your child's haul. Kids can win prizes for various levels of fund-raising.
