Question of the Day: Trick or treat?

Thursday October 12, 2006
With concerns over food allergies, diabetes, obesity, terrorism, food poisoning, child molestors, and random acts of violence preying on our minds, trick-or-treating doesn't sound like such a howling good time anymore. Some parents solve the problem by having kids solicit for charities, or trick-or-treat at malls, or go to parties, or sit home watching Halloween movies. Others just cross their fingers, patrol the treat bags, and hope for the best. Will you be letting your child go trick-or-treating this year? Pick a response from the poll at right, or select "other" and explain yourself in the comments.
