Sophie-Safe Cooking

Monday January 22, 2007
When Emily Hendrix's daughter Sophie was diagnosed with food allergies at age 3 months, she had to reinvent her family recipes to make them "Sophie-Safe" and delicious enough for the whole family. She's now gathered more than 100 of those dishes into Sophie-Safe Cooking, a book full of recipes that are "free of all 8 of the most common allergens: wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanut, tree nuts, fish, shellfish." If you have a Sophie of your own at home, you can follow the links on this site to buy a copy of the book or download one.
