February is National Children's Dental Health month, and that makes it a good time to check out the animations, games, and other fun stuff for children on the ADA site. Kids can watch short videos on primary teeth/permanent teeth, brushing, flossing and periodontal disease; do a dental-themed connect-the-dots, crossword puzzle, maze or word scramble; play Match-A-Tooth, Dental Space Odyssey and To Tell the Tooth; read the interactive story "Visit the Dentist With Marty"; and "discover the power of a healthy smile with MouthPower Online. Most of these activities are suitable for very young children, and may help make going to the dentist or nightly tooth-cleaning a less stressed and defensive activity.
