WebQuest Portal

Friday February 16, 2007
WebQuests are little journeys in which kids are given a subject or scenario to research and led to various spots on the Web to find their information. It's like an online scavenger hunt, and a perfect way to pass some fun and educational time over a school break. The WebQuest Portal developed by San Diego State University allows you to do your own search, this one for WebQuests that will interest your child and suit his or her particular learning and developmental needs. You can search by subject and functional grade level to find lists of quests, then pick one you think will catch your child's imagination. Or work with your child to write a WebQuest of your own, then submit it to the site for others to share.
