Resources for parents of children with leukemia

Tuesday February 27, 2007
"Before You Look for Information on Leukemia," a list of online resources for families of children diagnosed with leukemia, has been added to our section on medical issues. It joins a listing of "First Five Things to Do After Your Child Is Diagnosed With Leukemia," suggestions on "Preparing the School for Your Child With Leukemia," definitions of the various types of leukemia, and a folder of leukemia news stories. If your child has a different diagnosis, use "How to Research a Disability on About Parenting Special Needs to locate the material you need.
