Friday Book Club:
The Hidden Gifts of the Introverted Child

Friday March 23, 2007

Every Friday is book review day for the Harried Parent's Book Club, and today's selection, The Hidden Gifts of the Introverted Child, explores the way that some kids are biologically hardwired to be energized by alone time and drained by too much socializing. You may need to do some adapting to apply its generalizations to your special-needs "innie," but there's interesting information and useful techniques to be found here.

Read the Book Club review, then stop by the Harried Parent's Book Club Forum to add your opinion and ask questions. Coming next Friday: Count Us In: Growing Up With Down Syndrome.
