Site of the Day: AAA Math

Thursday March 29, 2007

Maybe you're tired of doing all the math drilling with flashcards and math games; maybe your child has outgrown your math knowledge and you find it tough to quiz on concepts you barely remember; or maybe your child has such problems with basic concepts that it's driving you up a wall. Whatever the situation, AAA Math can take some of the load off by providing extensive online math practice for grades kindergarten through eighth.

Pick a grade from the menu at the top, or a topic from the menu on the left -- money, maybe, or fractions, geometry, estimation, addition. You'll find quick and clear explanations of concepts coupled with unlimited practice exercises. If online time is a problem, you can also buy the AAA Math program on a CD for about $20 plus shipping. If it frees you from having to remember how to do ratios, or from explaining once again that FIVE PENNIES MAKE A NICKEL!, it's well worth it.
