A Mother's Day Bouquet of Mom Books

Tuesday May 8, 2007
More Than a Mom

It's almost Mother's Day. Do you know what your present's going to be? In my house, I generally get a nice card and lunch at the restaurant of my choice, which mostly means Mexican food, something my husband dislikes and I usually spare him. But if you actually get gifts for the occasion -- or, dad readers, if you're the gift-buyer -- here's a little something that might help with the shopping or hinting: a lovely bouquet of special-needs books written by and for moms.

The gallery of a dozen Mom books includes autism memoirs, books on FASD and medical challenges, research and how-tos, and humor. Browse through these virtual shelves to pick up a little something for a mom you love, or plant a suggestion of something mom would love.
