Every Friday is book review day for the Harried Parent's Book Club, and today's selection, Reasonable People, tells a compelling tale of a child with autism, abused by both the system and by a fellow foster child, adopted by parents who drew him out through facilitated communication.
It's a fascinating story, but one told at perhaps too great length, more than 450 pages worth. If it sweeps you along, though, you may not mind so much.
Read the Book Club review, then stop by the Harried Parent's Book Club Forum to add your opinion and ask questions. Coming next Friday: Quick-Guides to Inclusion.
