Every Friday is book review day for the Harried Parent's Book Club, and today's selection, Asperger Syndrome and Bullying, offers strategies and solutions for making schools more accepting places for students of all sorts.

Bullying may seem like an unavoidable fact of school life, but author Nick Dubin argues that it is particularly hard on students with Asperger syndrome, and more preventable than you might think. My daughter has had some bullying problems this year in high school, and even though she does not have Asperger syndrome, this book gave me some good insights and ideas about what could be done about that. There's empowerment here for both your child and yourself.

Read the Book Club review, then stop by the Harried Parent's Book Club Forum to add your opinion and ask questions. Coming next Friday: Supporting Siblings and Their Families During Intensive Baby Care.
