Site of the Day: March of Dimes PSA Video Contest
"Every Baby Has a Story." That's the theme of the March of Dimes' PSA Video Contest, and the story they want is yours. Tell it in a video that's 60 seconds or less, post the video to YouTube, fill out an entry form, and you could win $5,000 and maybe see your vision in a TV spot.
The video should, according to the contest description, "help raise awareness of an issue like premature birth — the #1 killer of newborns — or bring attention to the desperate need for health care coverage for women and babies. It can be a personal story, or about the experience of many babies and families. Our one piece of advice is to include both urgency and hope, because we know that most people need both of these elements to be motivated to do something."
To see what some parents are already doing with this theme, check the YouTube group for the March of Dimes contest. Among the entries is the video above. Will you be seeing this soon in an ad for the charity? Or something of your own?
