Site of the Day: National Stress Out Week

Wednesday November 14, 2007

Sometimes it seems like every week is Stress Week for parents of children with special needs. So a National Stress Out Week, aimed at relieving stress, is a nice change -- even though I'm a little stressed to tell you that it's already partially over, having started on Sunday.

Stress Out Week is sponsored by the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and the site offers lots of good information on anxiety, including anxiety disorders in children and teens. Among the resources particularly presented for Stress Out week are tips for managing stress, sleeping soundly, and throwing a stress-free house party. A stress-free party? Not in my house.
