Site of the Day: Epilepsy.com

Thursday November 15, 2007

Epilepsy.com has long been a good place to go for information and support for people with epilepsy and their families, but recent additions to the site make it even more useful, whether you're dealing with your child's seizures and treatments, or encouraging a teen to make the transition to self-empowerment.

Among the new features is one that allows patients or families to set up an electronic health record to manage all aspects of the disorder, including seizures, medications and treatments. A database can be used to keep track of medical contacts and appointments.

Also being made available to those who take advantage of free membership are personal blogs, sites and vodcasts; videos on a variety of subjects; and an opportunity to search for other members who share your interests and needs.
