Site of the Day: Sandy
Wish you had a personal assistant who could follow you around and pick up all the details of your life, reminding you of things when needed and remembering things when you don't? Sandy may only be a cyber-assistant, but she comes pretty close. You e-mail her things you need to do or stuff you hope to recall, and she organizes it, files it, and e-mails you back when you need it.
I generally love the promise of online organizers but fail at the execution, since figuring out how to file and organize and design and enter all the stuff of my life soon becomes overwhelmed by the need to actually live that life. I've got high hopes for Sandy, though, since she seems to be pretty low-maintenance. I've already asked her to remind me about my meeting Thursday morning with my son's IEP team, so maybe now I can stop fretting about forgetting.
If you've got lots of doctor's appointments and meetings and kid responsibilities to keep track of, Sandy may be a good method for juggling all of those dates and times and phone numbers and results. If not, it may be nice just to have somebody to blame.
