Extreme Makeover to Help Child Who Feels No Pain

Many TV shows have moved into re-runs now due to the writer's strike, but ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is still out there building elaborate houses for deserving families. And this week, again, Ty Pennington (right) and crew are coming to the aid of the family of a child with special needs.

The beneficiaries this time around are the Woodhouse family of Colorado, including 10-year-old Kayla, who has hereditary sensory autonomic neuropathy (HSAN), an extremely rare neurological condition that causes her to be unable to regulate body temperature or feel pain effectively.
