Well, I don't know about you, but I'm in total denial about the speed at which Easter is descending on us this year.
The weeks are going so fast it's making my head spin. I've got a lot of milestones coming up in the next seven months or so -- daughter turning 18, daughter getting driver's license, daughter going on first cross-country trip without me, son getting first job, son going to high school -- and I'd appreciate it very much if each minute would have 60 seconds, each hour 60 minutes, each day 24 hours, and so on.
'Cause again, I don't know about you, but ... does it seem to anyone else as though days aren't as long as they used to be? Then again, maybe the fact that I gave up coffee for Lent has me moving a little more slowly than the rest of the world.
At any rate, a post on About.com's Food Allergies site has reminded me that, indeed, for those of us who celebrate the holiday, it's time to start thinking about Easter basket fillers and Easter clothes and Easter family dinners and church services and egg hunts.
For some help in doing that in a way that takes into account your child's allergies and sensitivities and scoodgy behaviors, hop through the articles below:
