Site of the Day: Autism the Musical

Autism the Musical, a documentary about "five autistic children, their families and the dynamic woman who leads them to defy expectations by writing, rehearsing and performing their own musical," made its debut on HBO last night, and will be reshown frequently in the coming month. If you don't have that pay-cable service, though, you can still catch it: HBO will be streaming the entire documentary online today through Sunday, March 30.
Also on HBO's site for the film, you can read a full synopsis; meet the families of (in photo, from left) Neal, Adam, Lexi, Henry, and Wyatt; and read an interview with director Tricia Regan.
Another spot to visit if you're interested in Autism the Musical is the film's own website, which also includes reviews, screening schedules, DVD pre-order, an email list, and a contact for requesting a screening near you.
