Join in the All About Parenting Blog Carnival

Do you have a parenting blog, whether special-needs-related or general? The About.com Parenting and Family guides are starting a blog carnival, and you're invited to participate.

Each month the carnival will have a different theme, and the first one is "Kids and Play." About.com's Family Internet guide, Christy Matte, will be the host and has all the details on her blog. Check it out now -- submissions are due April 21.

Since "play" can be such a difficult concept for parents of children with special needs -- are our kids accepted by playmates? do they have the skills needed to play with their peers? are they interested in traditional play? is there a second to spare for it amid all the day's appointments? -- it would be great to have that perspective recognized in this carnival gathering.
