Monday Book Look: Epilepsy

Monday June 2, 2008

Monday is book review day for the Harried Parent's Book Club, and this week's selection, Epilepsy, is the third edition of an exhaustive Patient and Family Guide on the subject of seizures.

It's exhaustive, and I'm exhausted to have read it. It includes lots of information on the medical aspects of epilepsy as well as the lifestyle aspects, with the latter running all the way from infants to the elderly. That's a pretty wide spectrum of information, and may be overwhelming if you're just starting to learn about epilepsy and what it will mean for your child. If you're at that stage when all you want to do is cram your brain full of information? It's perfect.

Read the Book Club review, then stop by the Harried Parent's Book Club Forum to add your opinion and ask questions. Up next: Understanding Your Child's Puzzling Behavior.
