Site of the Day: SuperSibs!

Tuesday June 3, 2008

The goal of SuperSibs! is "to reach out to the brothers and sisters of over 12,600 children in the U.S. and Canada who are diagnosed with cancer each year. Through our work, these siblings will feel valued, validated, heard, supported and delighted as recipients of SuperSibs! services and as participants in SuperSibs! activities."

On the site, you can find out more about those offerings, including "Surprise and Delight" services that treat sibs to trophies, cards, wearables, quilts, parties and picnics; and advocacy and support services such as chat rooms, journals, CarePages, scholarships, call-ins, newsletters, and guidebooks. There are also downloadable referral forms, and opportunities to donate your money and your time.
