How to Fill an Allergy-Safe Easter Basket

Man! I'm only just beginning to realize we're in March now, and already bloggers and special-needs sites are all over the topic of Easter planning. Today's News and Views folder has two good entries from the Kids With Food Allergies site, one on "30 Peanut Free, Egg Free and Milk Free Items for Filling Easter Baskets" and another on "Five Egg Decorating Activities for Children with an Egg Allergy."

If that's not enough ideas for you, I have an article on "50 Ways to Fill an Easter Egg" -- many of which can, if your organizational skills are as nonexistent as mine, be purchased at whatever convenience store is open late on Easter eve, or scrounged out of drawers Easter morning. Or check out these Easter survival tips, which include letting your child wear sweats as Easter garb.

Share your Easter preparations in the comments. And check the news folder for stories about Down syndrome advocates lobbying, measles protecting against allergies, DVDs teaching emotions, and more throughout the day.
