This is one word that should be banished forever.

There are always kinder, gentler ways to communicate. This is a good reminder.

As a 15 year old in high school who refuses to use the words retarded OR gay, I’m incredibly mad. I tell some kids everyday not to say it, and I continue to hear it.
What’s so hard to say stupid, instead of retarded or even gay? I’ve always stood up for kids with disabilleties, it’s not like they can help it. And then you have jerks that go and make fun of them straight to their face.

This campaign is a good way to raise our awareness of how we communicate and how our words affect others.
