What will you do with all that candy your child hauls in on Halloween night? If your child has diabetes, food allergies, or other issues that make scarfing those sweets unwise -- and you'd rather not eat them all yourself, which is always fun -- you'll need a back-up plan, quick. I came up with a dozen ways to dispose of the stuff, then asked readers for their strategies. One was submitted last week by momofmany, who wrote, "Our church collects leftover Halloween candy and fills pinatas for area agencies that serve families in needs. Seek wholesale pinatas or ask for donations." What do you do with your leftover candy? Treat us with your tricks.
