How to Protest a Grade

My kids don't officially get their report cards until this Friday, but the grades were posted to our district's online "Parent Portal" over the weekend, so I got a little preview. One kid got mostly As, the other mostly Bs, with both receiving a low grade in their hardest subject. Nothing to complain about, just a reason to check in with those low-grading teachers to see if there's anything that needs doing. If your kids' grades aren't so acceptable this time around and you feel the need to launch a protest, check my article on how to protest a grade for tips on how to do so in the most effective and least bridge-burning way possible. Preparation, perspective, and politeness will take you far.
