Credit CardsLast night, I finally placed my last online order of apparel for the trip to Quebec my daughter will be taking with her high-school marching band next month (and I'll be tagging along on as a chaperone). It's been a purchase-intensive few weeks, and I'm just going to put my credit cards aside to cool now. If you're in a shopping mood today, though, here are a couple of special-needs discounts plus a new product at a parent-run store:

+ Myself Belts, which look like regular belts but are fastened with Velcro to help those who can't manipulate buckles, is offering 10 percent off all products in its online store for shoppers using the coupon code 2010. The deal is good through the end of January.

+ Blue Bear Aware, an online store for food-allergy apparel and accessories, also has a New Year's deal: Use the coupon code HNY10 for 10 percent off, through January 25.

+ Pump Wear, offering fun gear and apparel for kids with diabetes, has a nifty new item in the lineup: "Picture That," an insulin-pump case decorated with a photo you supply. It comes in two styles, one with a Velcro closure and one with a double zipper. To learn more about Pump Wear, read the Enterprising Parents profile.
