Ever wish you had an app for keeping track of all those details of your child's care -- the appointments, the therapies, the medications, the treatments you've tried, the foods you're restricted to, even the details of that item targeted in the photo at right? Florence and Kwame Iwegbue needed something like that for their son with autism and a seizure disorder, so they created one, and then, if only as a way to get it onto Florence's iPhone, they made it available in the iTunes App Store. Turns out a lot of other parents were looking for the same thing. Read more about how iBiomed got started in my Enterprising Parents interview with Florence Iwegbue.
Have you found a great app for kids with special needs and their families? Write a review and I'll add it to my listing of special-needs apps.
