Giving Thanks for Lessons in Tolerance and Understanding

I asked you to share what you give thanks for about your child with special needs, and Sarah Beth wrote about her prayer for her son:

"My son has Tourette's, ADHD and other disabilities. He has made me more tolerant, open hearted and exhausted. I'm sure I will look back some day and know that it's been worth it all, but right now it's very hard. I know God gives us only what we can handle. I grieve that my precious son struggles socially, but pray that the struggles he is undergoing can help him identify with others who struggle the same way he does."
