Giving Thanks for "an Infectious Giggle"

By December 19, 2010

Follow me on:

Christmas TreeI asked you to share what you give thanks for about your child with special needs, and stevesmom811 wrote about her son's strength and spirit:

"Steven is now 2 and making improvements everyday, the best thing in my life! He has an infectious giggle and makes friends wherever we go even though he does not talk or walk. Steven has Trisomy 9 mosaic, a genetic disorder where some cells have 3 copies of the ninth chromosome and some have the regular two. With this disorder we have no idea what will come, but we are ready. Steven is so very strong, and very very much loved."

Stop back here every day in December to read another parent's offering, and add your own story to the garland of gratitude.
