Motivating BookmarksIt's Tuesday again already, and I've scrambled to get my weekly book review up for your reading-planning pleasure. This week's selection is Siblings of Children With Autism: A Guide for Families, an entry in the Topics in Autism series from Woodbine House. It should be no surprise to parents that siblings of kids on the spectrum have a lot to deal with, but you may be a little taken aback by what researchers found when they asked those brothers and sisters to explain what autism is and how you get it. The book goes on to offer data-based suggestions for increasing communication, understanding, and interaction.
