Book Review Tuesday: 'Melanie: Bird With a Broken Wing'

After a week off for a book excerpt, book reviews are back this week with Melanie: Bird With a Broken Wing, a mother's story about raising a child with a rare form of cerebral palsy. This is the first parenting memoir I remember seeing with a Reader's Guide in the back, which you can use either to form a discussion group or just to stimulate yourself to some deeper thoughts about the issues raised. Looks like homework to me.
