Here's my weekly gathering of events, activities, and sites of interest that have landed in my e-mail queue or otherwise caught my attention this week:
+ Though I'm personally in denial that the holidays are so soon upon us, the folks at Kids With Food Allergies are up and planning with a "Navigating the Holidays With Food Allergies" webinar scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, November 6. It runs from 2-3 p.m. Eastern, and you can register for the webinar in advance.
+ If your kid is into K'NEX, check out the 20th anniversary sweepstakes that may score you one of 20 building sets. You can enter online through November 15. For more information, download the official rules.
+ The Epilepsy Therapy Project is holding a "Shark Tank Competition" to "support the development and commercialization of an important new product, technology or therapeutic concept to help people with epilepsy," with the winner receiving $100,000 to accelerate development of the chosen concept. Get more information on how to submit a concept and what's expected on the project's site.
