Nominations for the 2013 Readers' Choice Awards have been coming in since Monday, and I'll be highlighting some of them here in the blog as we go along. The very first nominations to be submitted, not long after the forms went live, were in support of the Military Special Needs Network, for the category of Favorite Special-Needs Online Community. Receiving the most nominations so far is Speaking of Apraxia: A Parent's Guide to Childhood Apraxia of Speech (a book I reviewed last year) in the category of Favorite New Special-Needs Parenting Book. There's still plenty of time to nominate your favorites -- and nominate them again -- in these categories and six others, including the newest category of Favorite Twitter Feed. Visit the 2013 Readers' Choice Awards FAQ for more information about the categories, the nominations going on right now, and the voting to come. Help me shine a spotlight on the special-needs resources that have meant the most to you.
