It's January 30. Have you made your child's summer plans yet? Though you may shoveling snow or still taking down Christmas decorations, it's not too early to think about summer vacation, especially if you hope to send your child to a specialized special-needs camp or get an Extended School Year wedged into an IEP. Wait until the last day of school to get those plans in order and you'll find yourself home with a very bored kiddo. Even a do-it-yourself Camp Mom takes a lot of pre-planning.
