Halloween Site of the Day Special: The Parenting Special Needs Site of the Day has been taken over by goblins and, throughout the month of October, will feature a daily site offering Halloween help and happiness to kids with special needs. Trade in those pumpkins for some Lem-O-Lanterns and help Alex's Lemonade Stand, a charity dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, raise funds in The Great Lemon Event. The goal is "to have 12,000 people across the country wear yellow on October 30th and sell paper Lem-o-Lanterns to support the cause." Register to be one of those 12,000 fund-raisers, then draw your own Lem-o-Lanterns or download a design from the site, read the materials and use the fliers provided, and maybe even pick up a spiffy yellow T-shirt in the gift shop to sport while you sell.
