Site of the Day: Asthma Screening Program

Tuesday May 6, 2008

Today is World Asthma Day, here at the start of National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month in the U.S., and one way to raise your awareness is to find out if asthma is something that may be affecting your child. Through the Nationwide Asthma Screening Program, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology offers free screenings and online quizzes to catch signs and symptoms, as well as to detect asthma management problems in those already diagnosed.

From the site, you can find locations around your state where free screenings will be conducted; choose from online tests for kids 0-7, 8-14, or 15 and up; give your health plan an asthma check-up; locate an allergist; and learn more about asthma and allergies.
