Poll: Should Parents Lose Custody for Disagreeing with Doctors?

It's not unusual for parents to disagree with doctors, or to seek second, third, fourth opinions. With the internet at their disposal, parents are more empowered than ever to research their children's conditions and learn about the side effects of conventional therapies and the benefits of alternative ones. Whether this is a) causing parents to make bad decisions or b) causing doctors to feel threatened, it is undoubtedly a factor in the increasingly common practice of calling in the government to seize custody of kids whose parents go against doctors' advice. Is this a reasonable way to get kids the medical help they need, or a blatant violation of parental rights? Pick as many responses below as you agree with.
